Wow, so 2019 is officially here. Time seriously does fly.
I am planning on moving to California this year and I'm looking for a job either in writing or graphic arts.
We'll see what opportunities open up. All I know is that I'm excited for the new year and even more stoked to become a full-time California resident!
I'm going to continue my writing and I'll try to update this site as frequently as possible to reflect that. Art is a big priority for me, as I made up my mind that I want to go to animation school.
However, I do have something big to announce: I'm working on a collection of poetry about California. I've had a working title for eons, but now, it finally has a proper name: "Santa Anas."
The name is inspired by the weather phenomena that exists in Southern California, in which dry desert wind is swept down the coast and into the Pacific Ocean. I feel like this title communicates the fact that I am going to the Pacific and not stopping until I reach it. Also, it is a California colloquialism and God knows I can't get enough of those.
I hope 2019 has some awesome things in store for you, as well! Wishing everyone all the best.
